24VDC BCD input signal

Hi!
I have a BCD input signal with 24V on 4 input pins. How can I detect if a BCD signal has come (e.g. with evok)?
I don't have a UniPi board, because I want to check first if I can solve my problem to read BCD input signals.

Hi,

I think it should be OK, but it also depends on your required sample rate..

Thank you :D. What do I need to wire my 24 VDC signal to the input? Which configuration I need to set on the UniPi? I have 24 VDC, the GND and the signal cable.

Another question: I cannot find any specification of the backup battery for the RTC module. Which battery should I buy?
