The ThingBox

Postby jacomms » Sun Aug 28, 2016 2:37 pm

Hello

I have been trying to install the evok api into the thingbox distro.

I am not having any luck in getting it to run again after the install. The user web interface works (and works well) but it kills the NodeRed interface.

Can anyone advise if this can be done??

Cheers

Justin

Hello, during startup evok does not kill any other application. It tries to open a port 80 for listening to the TCP packets for HTTP and other requests so if you have the NodeRed interface on the same port, than only one of them can run on that port. Try changing the port of evok to eg. 8080 and see if it helps.

Hello
Sorry for my choice of works.... But yes this is what is happening, I will have a look and see if I can find how to change the port.

Thank you

Return to “UniPi Extension modules (official)”
