Raspberry connector cable pinout

Postby maxf » Sat Jan 02, 2016 11:17 pm

Hello, I have an old RaspBerry that I'd like to my UniPI board (rev 1.1).
The provided cable doesn't fit, as it's a 40 pin cable and my board is a Model B Revision 2.0.
The provided leaflet doesn' t explain a lot, and the manual I've downloaded from http://unipi.technology/wp-content/uplo ... ual_en.pdf is not so clear to me.

Can someone point me to a pinout design or description like: UniPI pin 1 -> rasPI pin 1, etc... ?
Thanks

Hello,

as stated in the product description the cable we ship is for the RPi B+/2 versions. However we still have some cables for the old RPIs on stock. If you buy anything (where shipping fee is included) we will also put a the old cable in the package for free - please make sure to write a note to your order to put the RPI model 1 cable.

This is also a good point for everyone, if you have an older RPi please write it in the order note while completing order.

Thanks for your reply, is it possible to have the pinout for the cable or am I forced to buy something?
Come on! I thought this was an open source project!
Thank you

Of course you can make one... It is 1:1 cable, no pins are mixed. There is a description of what pin goes to which device, just check the documentation ;)
