Humidity sensor for unipi that can work with evok or owfs ?

Postby BlackSoll » Sat Aug 22, 2015 2:29 pm

Hi, i'm looking for a humidity sensor to connect to my unipi. Haven't found anything to your eshop........

Is this sensor suitable ?

Code: Select all

Do you have anythink else to propose ? Will this work if i connect it to unipi 1wire ?

Hello,

our air humidity sensor for 1Wire network is on our todo list, however there are some solutions available online but it is not supported with evok (maybe fhem could work).

Your sensor is not a 1Wire device, so it can't be connected to the UniPi. However you could use the unused GPIOs of RPi and do it on your own.

What about this sensor ? Is it compatible ? If i plug it in the 1wire 8 port hub and using owfs will work ?

Code: Select all

Hello,

you would have to modify the connector because there is a RJ12 and completely different pinout than we use. Than you need to know if it is supported by the software you want to use.

We will publish our own humidity sensor that will be supported with at least the evok hopefully this year.

Hi,

So, meanwhile your humidity sensor arrives ... can I adapt any other 1-Wire sensor to Unipi?
If I use Evok, would the following sensors work? How to know previous to purchase?

Thanks in advance

As I said before, our humidity sensor is on the way. Once I am done with some changes in the API I will start implementing the 1Wire huimdity sensors as well...

There are no details on the hwgorup pages but our sensors will be similar to the ones from taaralabs.

Hi,
I was not aware that some 1Wire humidity sensor were available at your shop.
I am talking about UNICA sensors (http://unipi.technology/product/unica-1wire-sensor/)

Perhaps I am wrong, but these UNICA sensors are not the humidity/temp sensors you are working on.
Aren´t they?

Hello,

we only resell these sensors from our partner but so far no software platform except FHEM maybe is compatible. Support to evok will be added in one month.

Hello,
what about evok update ? Is it working with the UNICA Modules you sale on the shop?
