Re: Double tap, triple tap, long press, etc inputs

See this NODE flow: http://flows.nodered.org/flow/4aa7ddad87f20f92031f I did look at that flow. It's incredibly simplistic (simply takes the input state and copies to an output relay). For my purposes, which is trying to implement momentary push switches to toggle outputs things get rather more com...

Re: Double tap, triple tap, long press, etc inputs

So... after playing a bit with Node-RED and that very trivial simulator I knocked up... I can see even more need for a single 'click' (and double, etc) event thrown out of the UniPi. Configurable of course. From what I can guess from the examples, if you connect a momentary push-to-make switch to a ...

Re: Simulation of UniPi hardware?

Well... I just wanted a simple WS server to connect to when I play with things like Node-RED for example. Super, super simple example I just knocked up: https://github.com/raintonr/unipi-simulator FWIW, it would be handy to know what message a UniPi spits out when input states change. I can't seem t...

Re: Double tap, triple tap, long press, etc inputs

Well, I don't have a UniPi device (yet?!) so sadly cannot do any development. Perhaps if there was a simulator available? ;)

Have raise an issue in GitHub to track this though: https://github.com/UniPiTechnology/evok/issues/3

Thanks :)

Re: Additional digital (5-24v) inputs & 0-10v outputs?

Interestingly I found an I2C input board today: https://www.ereshop.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=143_181&products_id=818 I hear what you're saying about direct read of GPIOs but the I2C bus is supposed to be fast & this device claims to have an I2C interrupt so the mic...

Simulation of UniPi hardware?

Hi,

For dev/test of home automation setup, I think it could be very useful to have some kind of UniPi simulation software. Simulate multiple boards connected to your home automation test system for example.

Is something like that available or planned?

Thanks :)

Double tap, triple tap, long press, etc inputs

For home automation lighting I'm guessing you'd connect digital inputs to momentary contact light switches. In such an application it would be very useful to have double tap, triple tap, long press events detected. I'm guessing the best way to do that is in the evok layer and have it spit out differ...

Thanks for the heads up. It's not that big a dea to have multiple UniPi modules I guess.

Additional digital (5-24v) inputs & 0-10v outputs?

Hi, I'm looking for home automation hardware and really like the look of the UniPi as an option. For lighting the idea would be to have 12 or 24v DC switches (momentary push-to-make) as inputs and all the loads connected via relays. Perhaps some proximity sensors too. Bit of code to tie it all toget...
