for me the counter mode is operating but resets when RPI reboots......this is a real problem!

Yes there are 5 pins, I've tried to wire between gnd and di1 and nothing happened. Don't you have an example of wiring? There is also a jumper JP1, what is it for?

EDITED: Due to fail in manufacture, some 1W-4R-4DI are labeled as EMO-R8!
